Traditions and Memories
“It’s true, Christmas can feel like a lot of work, particularly for mothers. But when you look back on all the Christmases in your life, you’ll find you’ve created family traditions and lasting memories. Those memories, good and bad, are really what help to keep a family together over the long haul.”
This Christmas was filled with activities from one family tradition to another — from Lutefisk and French silk pie to playing the White Elephant gift exchange and watching children, first to eagerly opening their gifts. I was filled with memories of times past, traditions passed from generation to generation. Being with family extended and close, traditions I forgot now seem so close. Being with family is the most precious feeling, saying I love you, doing our best, helping each other to make this Christmas the best. I hope you enjoyed Christmas 2014.
May we each be filled with the sweet Spirit of Christ, always remember Him and choose the right!
