We
received many excellent entries for our 2004 Poetry
Contest, and many of our submitters have asked that
we hold another open submission period. We have decided
to try a different approach this time.
We
will be taking 300 entries over approximately the next
year, at which time we will
determine who will be included in our book.
We
are excited to work with new and established poets alike.
This will be another great opportunity to have your work
published
and receive nationwide exposure.
Guidelines
for Open Submission
1.
All entries must be inspirational poetry.
2.
Entry deadline will be enacted when 300 submissions have
been received. Entries submitted after this time will
not be considered. We will post periodic updates, so
watch for that information.
3.
There are no limits on submissions per contestant. Entries
must be original, unpublished work
and must be typed with double-spacing or neatly printed.
4.
Entrants must be 18 or older unless we have the signed
permission from
the parents of a minor.
5. Pure Thoughts
retains the right to the first publication of each winning
poem. All copyrights will continue to belong to the author.
6.
Entrants must include e-mail address, daytime phone
number, and mailing address.
